Home Sweet Home Care is a family owned and operated business. It was founded back in 2002 by Joanie, an enterprising mom of two. While searching for care for her own aging parents, Joanie realized the need for personal, compassionate and reasonably priced Home Support. None of the existing senior home care companies quite fit the bill, so she decided to started her own! Since then, she has coordinated care for hundreds of happy clients.
In 2016 Joanie’s daughter Megan was looking for a career change. After years of working corporate jobs for big companies such as Tim Hortons and CIBC, Megan was feeling the need to put her business experience to work helping others. It seemed a natural fit to team up with her mom, and she is so happy that she did!
Joanie now works with Home Sweet Home in a consulting capacity and is off enjoying a lovely retirement.
Megan now serves as the President of Home Sweet Home Care and is delighted to spend her days helping support families and care for seniors all across Greater Vancouver Area.
We dedicate this business to the loving memory of Bill and Dorothy MacDonald, our beloved seniors. Though they are no longer with us, they are the reason we work so diligently to make sure each and every client is treated with the same love and care that we would want shown to them.
